These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of OTPly, operated by Adept Code ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using our API, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
OTPly provides an API for sending one-time passwords (OTPs) and messages via WhatsApp and SMS, along with a dashboard for managing your API key, credits, and delivery reports.
2. Account registration
You must provide accurate information and verify your mobile number. You're responsible for keeping your password and API key confidential, and for all activity under your account. Regenerate your key immediately from the dashboard if you suspect it's compromised.
3. Credits & billing
- Access to the API is on a credit (pay-as-you-go) basis. Credits are deducted per OTP/message request.
- Credits are purchased through our payment partner, Cashfree, in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise.
- Purchased credits are generally non-refundable once added, except where required by law or at our sole discretion for a verified billing error.
- Pricing is subject to change; we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active users of significant price changes in advance.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Send spam, unsolicited marketing, or messages to numbers without proper consent.
- Send content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, or harassing.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, credit checks, or security controls.
- Reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the API outside the scope of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts found in violation of this section, with or without prior notice, at our discretion.
5. Service availability
We work to keep the Service reliable, but delivery ultimately depends on third-party telecom and messaging networks outside our control. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service or guaranteed delivery of every message, and aren't liable for delays caused by upstream carriers.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OTPly and Adept Code are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim won't exceed the amount you paid in the preceding 3 months.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud, or misuse. Unused credits are not refunded upon termination for cause.
8. Intellectual property
All software, branding, and content of the Service belong to Adept Code. You retain ownership of the content of the messages you send through the Service.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having competent authority.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
